Nannies care for children of all ages. People who love kids become nannies — for a year or two, or for a lifetime — because of the many benefits and options available in the field of in-home child care.
Permanent nannies are paid a monthly salary plus benefits. You can work full or part-time but will be required to sign a year-long contract with the family who hires you. Salaries range between $25,000 and $36,000 per year, depending on your prior experience and education. Part- time nannies earn between $15.00 and $25.00 an hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave and mileage reimbursement.
Salary ranges listed are gross wages (before taxes). If you want to compute your after tax income, click here.
Temporary nannies can also work full or part-time but can set their own hours and work a flexible schedule. Work is steady and regular — you can work as much, or as little, as you want. Temporary nannies start at $14.00 an hour and are paid according to the number of children cared for as well as the job description.

What they say about us
What I appreciate about Care Givers is the consistency. I also like the security of the job. I know the families are screened as well as the nannies are screened.
